3. Whole Grains
The third component of a healthy eating diet is known as whole grains. Whole grains are food that are rich in carbohydrates but are good for your health. Foods that are considered as whole grains are oatmeal, pasta, brown rice and also bulgur. Whole grains can help to reduce the chances of getting a cardiovascular attack. So, be sure to keep them in your everyday meal.
4. Limiting Unhealthy Fat
There are two types of fat in this world, the healthy and the unhealthy fat or so called the good and the bad fat. Unhealthy fat includes foods that contain too much oil and is bad for your health. Instead, you need to opt for healthier fat foods such as avocado, sunflower oil and oily fish.
5. Limiting Processed Food
Processed foods are never good because they contain a lot of preservatives and harmful substances. Once you consume this food, they will obviously damage your body from the inside. Foods in this category include foods such as frozen food, fast food and also junk food. By consuming them, you will likely increase your chances of getting cardiovascular disease such as heart attack, stroke and also angina.
